My five star rating is based on the fact that this is a self-sustaining Eco Lodge in a gorgeous setting. It is not a fancy resort. There is electricity with WiFi and fans, but there is no air-conditioning. You don’t get all of the food and drink amenities that you would at other places. But if you love nature, don’t mind an open air bathroom with the occasional slugs in your sink, enjoy waking up to birds, appreciate the natural beauty of an Eco Lodge, and want to gain knowledge of local culture, wildlife, flora, sauna, this place is absolutely outstanding. I was there as part of a larger tour group so we had set meals that were very tasty. The menu also has a good variety of meat, fish, vegetarian options.

In my opinion, PPLH Seloliman offers many benefits, especially for students. We can gain new knowledge while also learning to care more about the surrounding environment. After visiting, we can put simple practices into action, such as disposing of trash properly, reducing plastic use, and keeping the environment clean. Overall, PPLH Seloliman is a great place to learn about the environment while enjoying the natural surroundings.
